Spaghetti Bolognese Recipe + Macaroni (Persian Spaghetti)

How to Cook Spaghetti Bolognese (Macaroni)

Ingredients

  • Ground Beef 250 g
  • Spaghetti 500 g
  • Large Onion (1)
  • Basil (1/4 tsp)
  • Oregano (1/4 tsp)
  • Turmeric (1 tsp)
  • Tomato Paste (2 Tbsp.)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lemon (Juice)
  • Vegetable Oil (2 Tbsp.)

Instructions

Thinly slice the onions. Put the pan over medium-high heat, add some vegetable oil to the pan, add the onions and let it cook until onions are soft.

Spaghetti Bolognese Recipe + Macaroni

Then, add the minced meat to the pan and turmeric, black pepper, salt, oregano and basil. Mix until all spices are incorporated in the minced meat. If you like your sauce to be a bit hot, you may add some chilli powder as well. Let the meat cook for a few minutes, and then add the lemon juice and mix well.

Meanwhile, boil some water and add pasta to the boiling water. Follow the package instructions, cook until pastas are soft. Keep some of the pasta’s water to add it to your sauce later.

When the meat mix is fully cooked, add the tomato paste to your mix, stir until it’s incorporated in the mixture, and let it cook for a few minutes. If you like to have a runny sauce, you can add the pasta water to your meat mix; otherwise, keep it as is.

Add the sauce to your pasta and enjoy your meal!
