A New Alien Game in the Development, Will Be Action and Horror and Have VR Version

This project will use Unreal Engine 5 technology and will be available for consoles.

Alien Game

Alien is one of the horror franchises that have been successful in the world of cinema and other forms of entertainment. This series continues to evolve and not just on the big screen, but also with video game projects and another one is on the way, which will tell a completely original story and have a virtual reality version.

Recently it was announced that a new game in the 20th Century Fox franchise, Aliens: Dark Descent, is in development by Tindalos Interact and Forcus Entertainment.

Well, this is not the only project, since today it has just been reported that 20th Century Games is collaborating with Survios studio (Puzzle Bobble 3D: Vacation Odyssey, Creed: Rise to Glory) to develop a new single-player action-horror game set in the universe of the Alien franchise.

The New Alien Game Will Come To VR Devices

As per details, this title will feature a completely new and original narrative in between Alien and Aliens movies, featuring a veteran who seeks revenge against this species.

This project will take advantage of the Unreal Engine 5 and the experience of the Survios studio and is set to be available on PC, VR platforms and unconfirmed consoles.

The project is apparently in an early development phase, since neither a release date nor a release window was announced. Moreover, Survios is currently looking for staff to join the project.

Having said that, no trailer for the game was revealed either, but a picture of the game is available on the project’s official site, you can see above.

More information about this project is due to be announced at the San Diego Comic-Con 2022, where there will be a panel dedicated to the expansion of the Alien universe. The event will take place precisely on July 21.
