Arcadegeddon

Earlier today, developers IllFonic launched their colorful multiplayer shooter “Arcadegeddon” for the PlayStation 4 and the PlayStation 5, available to download and play at no extra cost as part of an active PlayStation Plus membership.

In “Arcadegeddon”, you join forces with up to three friends and make your way through various areas and missions in a third-person shooter format. You can unlock various rewards, such as new abilities, by completing missions.

The developers from Illfonic say that different biomes, mini-games, hidden treasure chests, difficult boss fights and hidden treasure chests will provide the necessary variety.

Developers pledge long-term support

Alongside the co-op missions, “Arcadegeddon” will also offer the chance to compete with other players in PvP battles. During the official announcement, the makers of Illfonic announced that the colorful co-op shooter will be continuously supported and developed with new content over a long period of time. Besides the download version released today, a retail version of “Arcadegeddon” is also in the works.

The retail version will be released in cooperation with the publisher Nighthawk Interactive and be available on August 30, 2022, according to the current situation. Below is the official launch trailer for “Arcadegeddon”, which will introduce you to the colorful co-op shooter in a bit more detail.

Besides the PlayStation consoles, the Xbox and PC systems have also been supplied with “Arcadegeddon”.
