Immortality Delayed: This Is the New Release Date

Sam Barlow's latest effort, Immortality, has been delayed, luckily not by many days, as the new release date shows.

IMMORTALITY

Sam Barlow today announced that Immortality has been delayed. Its new release date is August 30, 2022. Thankfully, this is a short postponement, which does not change either the year or the release period.

It is simply that Half Mermaid, their development team, is in need of more time to refine it and does not want to rush the release.

“We hope that anyone who was waiting for the game will understand this necessary evil and continue to prepare to dig into the more complex mystery we tried to answer: ‘what happened to Marissa Marcel?'”

Immortality has been part of the Tribeca Games Showcase, in which it was featured with a new trailer. Its previous release date was July 26, 2022, so many people were hoping to play it in a few days.

As with Barlow’s previous titles, Her Story and Telling Lies, Immortality will be composed of movies that the player will have to watch and then combine in search of clues in order to untangle the story being told.

As a result, Immortality will be released on August 30, 2022 on PC and Xbox Series X and S. The game will also be available at launch on Xbox Game Pass, which will delight subscribers.
