Monster Hunter Paradise Could Be Capcom’s Next Production

Name of the game and platforms leaked via Discord

Monster Hunter Paradise

The Japanese developer and publisher might be planning to reveal the next major installment in the Monster Hunter series, one that would not debut on the Nintendo Switch.

A gamer has been digging into the name and some details of the production focused on giant beasts. However, his discovery raised some doubts from the start.

For Capcom, the Monster Hunter brand is the hen that lays the golden eggs, a fact clearly shown by the sales columns. The recent addition to Monster Hunter Rise still dominates the charts, and server attendance is very good, in the meantime there is more and more talk about a fresh project related to the universe.

A gamer, using Discord’s developer mode, managed to find events that are scheduled for the next months of 2022. In the photo he released, we see that IP enthusiasts would be picking up a code for “Monster Hunter Paradise” soon.

The hinted title was immediately interpreted as the next major game belonging to the brand, referred to as “Monster Hunter 6” in the company’s earlier leaks.

Discord allegedly would offer content for Monster Hunter Paradise, available on three platforms: PlayStation, Xbox and PC.

What the incident suggests is that the Japanese are developing a major installment in the series, which probably wouldn’t debut on the Nintendo Switch, with Monster Hunter World having already bypassed the platform, although let’s remember that Monster Hunter Rise, among others, debuted on the Big N hybrid.

Certain reports have been questioned, among them the possible name of the production, which, according to VG247 editors, is not true, and was probably hinted at by Discord. In the end, manufacturers usually use titles or code names in internal files that are less conspicuous.

Nevertheless, the news has undoubtedly caused a stir among enthusiasts of the title, and it seems that Capcom may have some sort of announcement in store. We look forward to official announcements.
