Resident Evil Village Is Getting Highly Awaited Features Later This Year

Capcom has announced a new update.

Resident evil village

Capcom announced in mid-June that Resident Evil Village would be getting new content titled “Winter Expansion” in the fall, featuring a story-driven expansion called “Shadows of Rose.”

Nevertheless, it turns out that these are not the only highlights that the Japanese developer is planning for fans of the aforementioned game. This is because the latest installment of the popular horror series is also going to get the features awaited by many players.

Resident Evil Village will feature new accessibility options

Capcom today announced that on October 28 – the day of the “Winter Expansion” pack’s release – Resident Evil Village is to receive a free update that will introduce new accessibility options to the game.

Thanks to the upcoming patch, users will receive, among other things, an option to customize subtitles by changing their size, color or including backgrounds.

With the upcoming update, coded subtitles will also appear in the game, and characters’ names can be displayed before their spoken lines.

The new options, as we mentioned above, are going to be made available as part of a free patch, and the “patch” will appear on all platforms for which Resident Evil Village was released.

In conclusion, let us remind you that Resident Evil Village has debuted on PC, as well as PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S consoles in May last year.
