Next Samsung Galaxy S23 To Use the Snapdragon Chip and Leave Aside Exynos

Samsung has proposed a new strategy to concentrate only on the use of Qualcomm chips to set aside those manufactured by the Korean brand itself.

Unlike a report that came in April this year, Samsung apparently will abandon the use of its Exynos chips for the next Samsung Galaxy S23 series. In other words, instead of its own, Samsung would go for Qualcomm chips, such as the Snapdragon with the latest 8 Plus Gen 1.

Samsung Galaxy S23 with Snapdragon

We do not even know the Snapdragon chip model which would carry inside any of the models of the Galaxy S23 series, but for sure it is the one that will follow the success of the current Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1.

We have learned through Android Authority that an analyst has said that Samsung would be getting its own Exynos chips out of the way for the Galaxy S23 series, and of course, the replacement would be Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon flagship model.

What is interesting about this opportunity is that in Spain and like other European countries they could have a model with the Snapdragon chip; which has always scored better in certain performance tests than Exynos.

There is one detail that the analyst has suggested about the chip that will be seen in the Samsung Galaxy S23 entries. This would be manufactured in the 4nm TSMC. And this is the same one who claims that Samsung should use Qualcomm’s chip since it is currently unable to compete with the SM8550 in any way.

In any case, it should be known that this is not the first time this year that news has been released regarding the possibility of Samsung moving on from the Exynos for its next Galaxy S23 series.
