There are new leaks about next year’s stealth adventure. Called Assassin’s Creed Mirage, this game is set to debut next spring, with one of the studio’s new projects reportedly a full remake of Assassin’s Creed.

J0nathan, the French YouTuber familiar with Ubisoft has released new information about next year’s installment of the Assassin’s Creed series, which may be of interest to many gamers.

The Assassin’s Creed Mirage, previously called Assassin’s Creed Rift – it was a code name – is expected to debut between April 1 and June 31. The game is set in Baghdad in the period from 860-870.

Developers decided to use the Anarchy in Samarra – the period of extreme internal instability from 861 to 870 in the history of the Abbasid caliphate, which was marked by a rapid succession of four caliphs who became puppets in the hands of powerful rival military groups

The main character will be Basim, and, According to j0nathan – there will be “many cities to explore in the game, separate by desert and rivers like the realm of Assassin’s Creed 1.”

Jason Schreier disagreed with this news, who confirmed that the name of the production and its release is correct, but that the journalist is not convinced about the release of several locales.

The Assassin’s Creed Mirage is supposed to “go back to basics” and the game is “heavily inspired by the first Assassin’s Creed.”

Production will not include many RPG elements ( choices during conversations, selection of character gender, lack of leveling system) and the title will differ significantly from Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.

Developers have developed many new animations, will provide the return of Eagle Vision, while Basim is expected to use a string dagger.

j0nathan believes at the same time that Ubisoft is creating a full remake of Assassin’s Creed 1 – developers are expected to use “a large part of the assets” of Assassin’s Creed Mirage.

The Assassin’s Creed 1 may be bundled with the Assassin’s Creed Mirage Season Pass, and among the add-ons is expected to be Constantinople, with Basim meeting Siegfried.
