Crypt of the NecroDancer To Offer a Multiplayer Mode

The developer unveils new DLC for the game.

Crypt of the Necrodance Receives a Multiplayer Mode

The Crypt of the NecroDancer is a roguelike game that came out seven years ago. Its gameplay involves traversing the underworld to the rhythm of music.

So far we have not written anything about this title on our website, but that has changed with the release of the new DLC named the Synchrony.

What does it add that is so new? Well, above all, the highly anticipated multiplayer. Here you can play online with friends in co-op or versus mode where you will face each other in various PvP struggles.

A session will accommodate up to 8 players at once and the network architecture has been designed so that high ping will not interfere with comfortable play.

Besides the online mode, as many as three new characters have entered Crypt of the NecroDancer! Klarinetta, Chaunter, Suzu. Quite a few new items, enemies and other things.

If you enjoy modding games, then I have good news for you. The title has received full support for mods and you can create any content you want, in addition to using it in online gameplay.

Integrations with mod.io have also been added so you can easily browse and install mods, it’s a shame not Steam Workshop. All the details can be found here.

In celebration of the release of the new DLC, the Crypt of the NecroDancer is currently on discount and you can snag a copy at a low price, however hurry, because there are a little over 30 hours left. Get it here.
