Electronic Arts is continuing to release new trailers and information about FIFA 23, which debuts on September 30. The developers today have focused on match days, promising, among other things, a “hyper-realistic” turf.

The element is expected to represent “a big step forward in visual quality.” The main thing they’re talking about is illustrating how the turf will change with the flow of the match, when players are performing sliding tackles and enjoying the game.

Whether the ball will be able to bounce off the “clump” has not been clarified, unfortunately.

Going further, the revised replays will take advantage of HyperMotion 2 advanced animation technology. The “live” will also receive more information about the situation on the field: the distance from the goal at a free kick, the impact force indicator and so on.

In the audio area, the game is supposed to better reflect the importance of the match, so that the Champions League final will not sound the same as a match in the English Championship.

During matches, we will hear songs from the soundtrack, sirens and vuvuzelas, and women will appear among the referees, in line with the real world.

Goal meshes are to be more detailed and better animated. So will fan crowds, enhanced with “more variety, types of clothing and more.” EA also boasted that the… the hint box displayed next to players – the FIFA Trainer – will be upgraded.
