Gotham Knights: New Trailer Unveils Character Development Mechanisms

Each of the characters has its own tree in the game.

Gotham Knights

Gotham Knights’ release is fast approaching, so the developers and publisher are certainly not wasting time this vacation and every now and then we get more video footage of the game. Most recently, we had the chance to see a trailer with Red Hood’s powers and abilities.

Meanwhile, a video has now been revealed, with Gotham Knights creative director Patrick Redding and project head Geoff Ellenor talking about the character development tree.

According to the video, the title is expected to offer four playable superheroes. There will be an option to switch from one character to another during the course of the game.

And, because each of the protagonists will be equipped with distinct skills, they are also to have a distinct development system. We will receive experience points for our progress in the game, which will traditionally be spent on the development of the hero.

If we switch from one to the other at any given time, the points collected so far will be redistributed to the chosen character.

Gotham Knights will launch later this fall

We should expect the game’s launch later this fall, namely on October 25. The Gotham Knights will be coming to PCs and PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. As it turned out, the production release for last generation consoles has been completely cancelled.
