Fizz To Receive VFX Update: How Does the Updated League of Legends Hero Look Like?

Riot will update another senior champion.

Fizz

Fizz is a hero who made his way to League of Legends in 2011. Although the hero has been in LoL for more than a decade now, his skill set and looks have not changed significantly since his release.

However, Riot decided that it was high time to refresh the model and animation of the champion in question, deciding to start work on a VFX update, of which players can see the results right now. So how does the refreshed Fizz look like?

VFX update for Fizz

Indeed, Riot Games regularly revamps the older part of the heroes’ stakes, issuing VFX updates that improve both the model and animations, and also sound effects.

This is something that virtually all players have approached with much enthusiasm, as the appearance of many characters was already deviating significantly from those currently being released.

Similar to previous VFX updates (Leona, Nami, Vel’koz, etc.), we are working on improving the visual effects (VFX) of characters whose spell effects need some attention. Our goal is to bring their VFX up to current League standards and improve the clarity of gameplay. Keep in mind that these are smaller updates aimed at the oldest heroes of the rate. They have a different priority with us than characters who receive VGUs.

So what has changed in the different hero skins and how do the new models and animations look?

You can test the hero now on test servers, with the changes set to go into effect as early as the next update 12.16, planned for August 24.
