Madden NFL 23 Won’t Come to Xbox Game Pass and PlayStation Plus

This is some bad news for the fans of the famous American football game!

Madden NFL 23

In just over a week from now, or on August 19, Electronic Arts will be launching the much anticipated Madden NFL 23. While these days subscription services has found their way into gaming world, many fans were hoping to see the new installment of the Madden NFL series to be either in the Xbox game pass or playstation plus.

However, unfortunately, this is not going to happen. In July a banner ad was on Xbox website saying that Madden NFL 23 will be featured in the Xbox Game Pass, which led to some rumors that fans’ hopes were coming true. But later on, a spokesperson for Electronic Arts claimed that the banner ad was a mistake.

However, there’s some good news for Xbox Game Pass subscribers that they will be able to play a 10-hour demo of the Madden NFL 23. This is true only if you are a Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscriber as EA Play is only bundled with it and not with the Xbox Game Pass standard version.

Members of the EA Play will have the opportunity to play the game’s demo three days before the official launch, on 16 August to be precise. We should mention that subscribers of PlayStation Plus will also have access to the demo version of the Madden NFL 23.

One more thing to add is that those who will pre-order the game can also play the full version, without any limits since August 16, which is three days before the official launch.

Some sources claim that it is possible that Madden NFL 23 will eventually hit the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate in early 2023. If you can recall, it was in mid-February that Madden NFL 22 made it to the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
