New PTR 2.5 for Diablo Ii: Resurrected Is Coming, Testing of Terror Zones Has Begun

An update 2.5 is coming to Diablo II: Resurrected; eager players can test the Terror Zones starting today via Public Test Realm.

Diablo 2 Resurrected

A test version of PTR 2.5 for Diablo II: Resurrected has just become available to PC owners of the game. Aside from minor changes such as fixing bugs or grammatical errors, this patch will introduce optional Terror Zones. This novelty is designed to help players who are aiming to reach the maximum level.

As the developers from Blizzard Entertainment studio state in the patch’s published description, they’re introducing Terror Zones to D2R in order to make reaching the maximum level, 99, easy for more people.

In the Terror Zones, appearing randomly in selected areas in each act, gamers will receive additional experience points for defeating monsters lurking there, who will be slightly stronger than the player’s character. Levels of enemies in these zones will depend on the selected difficulty level.

Every time we enter such a zone, you will be notified. When the next zone’s time starts, we will also be notified by the game. Significantly, the option to disable Terror Zones will be available. You can find out more about them here.

So how do you test the Terror Zones yourself?

For the time being, Patch 2.5 is in the public testing phase. Every owner of Diablo II: Resurrected on PC can try it out, thereby checking how the Terror Zones actually look like.

However, the prerequisite is to have a previously unbanned Battle.net account. If you wish to take part in the test, all you have to do is:

Developers encourage you to take part in the public testing so that as many people as possible report the bugs they notice and share their observations. So, whether you have Diablo II: Resurrected in the PC version – do not hesitate. Terror Zones are waiting.
