Publisher Assemble Entertainment today announced that Roadwarden, an illustrated text-based RPG created by Moral Anxiety Studio, would be coming to PC, Mac and Linux on September 8!
Roadwarden blends features of RPG gameplay, visual novel, adventure and paragraph games. This title provides an original adventure experience by incorporating extensive dialogues, puzzles, inventory management, skill selection and a progression system.
Offering over 40 hours of gameplay and with hundreds of thousands of lines of dialogue and limitless possibilities, Roadwarden is a genuinely epic and unique experience – with no two stories the same in this adventure.
Inside Roadwarden, you will play the role of a wandering adventurer, messenger and hero on a quest of all kinds in a magical but dangerous world. Your story starts when you receive a mission from an influential merchant guild.
Your destination is a mysterious peninsula in which the organization can expand its influence. You are tasked with investigating the place and obtaining as much information as possible to discover the secrets hidden by the area.
This is a dangerous but equally respectable task – do you have the guts and meet all the requirements to earn the title of Roadwarden?
In order to step into the shoes of a daredevil, gamers must be prepared to put their own lives on the line – or else there will be no change in the gloomy world.
