S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 Developers Celebrate World Cat Day in a Weird Way!

In late July, the developers from the GSC Game World studio published new screenshots of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2. And yesterday – to celebrate World Cat Day – the developers presented one of the monsters we will face in the said production.

We have to admit that the mutant looks menacing and an encounter with it will certainly not be one of the most pleasant.

The mentioned creature is referred to as “Bayun”, a description provided by the developers tells us that the monster is extremely agile and able to sneak very well.

Developers stress that “for years” the stories about this mutant “were considered fairy tales.” Instead, its name is derived from ” throat sacs that allow the beast to mimic all kinds of sounds, among them human speech.”

Both the monster’s appearance itself and the information presented by the creators promise that gamers will have to be on guard as soon as they enter the area where the “Bayun” prowls. Meanwhile, have a look at the concept graphic depicting the said beast and let us know how you like the mutant.

Lastly, recall that S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 is being developed for PC and Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S consoles. Production was supposed to debut on the market this December, but the release of the game was delayed until next year due to the ongoing war in Ukraine.

It is also worth remembering that the title will hit the Xbox Game Pass service on the day of its debut.
