Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Won’t Be Delayed? A Book and a Novel Are Announced

A famous writer is in charge of the novel.

Star Wars Jedi Survivor

Books related to the Star Wars Jedi game series will be released in early 2023, the latest announcement states. This might imply that the sequel to the Fallen Order game will also be released during this period.

According to the official Star Wars website, there are two items scheduled for release at this time. “Star Wars Jedi: Battle Scars” is set to tell players an entirely new story, which takes place between the Fallen Order and Survivor games (the sequel’s plot unfolds five years after the first installment). This novel will hit stores on March 7, 2023.

Sam Maggs wrote the book. Among other things, the writer has previously co-written Marvel comics and scripts for famous games (Rachet and Clank: Rift Apart, Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands). The second item is “The Art of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor” from the renowned publisher Dark Horse.

The book will be published in episodes and will chronicle the creation of the game, a collection of concept artwork and a collection of commentaries by the creators. You will be able to buy the first volume from May 2, 2023.

While the Star Wars Jedi: Survivor game has no release date yet, earlier reports implied just the beginning of next year (specifically, late February/early March). Given that book items directly related to the game will be released at a similar time, the leaks so far seem all the more likely.
