Two of the titles have already been confirmed

We continue to hear that gamers strongly desire a remaster or remake of Red Dead Redemption. Even the lead actor himself has joined the group, who would love to play John Marston again. Recent news may give hope that a refresh is in the making.

In the course of the release of recent financial results by Take-Two (the company responsible for Rockstar Games), a corporate representative mentioned that it has plans for as many as eight refreshes of “previously released titles.”

One of them, as we can guess, is a port, already announced some time ago, of – badly received by the community – the “Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition” for mobile devices. Yet another renewal is the relatively recently revealed Max Payne + Max Payne 2 remake, the release of which is still a distant topic.

That leaves as many as six previously undisclosed items that may receive ports/remasters/remakes for new consoles or just phones.

Much has been said at the time about Red Dead Redemption 2 heading for PS5 and XSX|S, and we also have to remember about the publisher’s mobile games (such as Farmville), which might come to consoles.

Nevertheless, it is worth keeping our fingers crossed that one of those spots has been reserved for the coveted Red Dead Redemption remaster.
