“Joker 2” is arguably one of the most highly anticipated sequels that has now been officially confirmed. The first installment, in which we were able to watch Joaquin Phoenix take on the role of one of Gotham’s greatest antagonists, was met with a phenomenal reception and went on to break many records.
Therefore, it is no surprise that at the very least a similar level is expected from the sequel. To date, a great confirmation of the willingness to respond to audience demand is what actors are selected for the position.
We can safely say that we are faced with very meticulously selected characters, who no doubt have excellent performances behind them – in different forms. It has now been confirmed that we are going to see Catherine Keener in the film!
But unfortunately Deadline, which first reported the news, has absolutely no details about the woman’s role. Most recently, we could see her in “The Adam Project” from Shawn Levy, and before that she also appeared in “Brand New Cherry Flavor,” “Modern Love” and “Kidding.”
Actually, this will be her first experience with such a big movie, but given the aforementioned performances – she has no lack of talent!
