Beyond the Wire’s Officially Launched: It’s a Realistic World War I MMOFPS

Having been in Early Access for almost two years, Beyond the Wire finally left Early Access and made its official debut.

Beyond the Wire

The move from Early Access to version 1.0 is normally a purely cosmetic procedure… but not so with Beyond the Wire. With the official launch came a lot, really a lot of new features and changes.

The game was thoroughly optimized (low fps was one of the main issues during Early Access), and we saw new language versions, improved character progression, enhanced shooting model, refreshed interface, added new items… and lots more.

Meanwhile, Beyond The Wire has found itself in a cool promotion with 40% off and also announced a Free Weekend (September 2-5).

Well, and what is Beyond The Wire really? It’s a large-scale, massively multiplayer shooter set in the scenery of World War I.

Indeed, if we count Heroes & Generals as an MMOFPS game, then the same must go for Beyond The Wire. We have here huge maps with 100 people fighting simultaneously, although there will be more, as the producers want to introduce even bigger battles.
