Cyberpunk 2077 Is Doing Great on Steam and Again Breaks the Witcher 3’s Record

Following the release of the anime Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, a lot of gamers decided to come back to Cyberpunk 2077. The masterpiece of the Polish developer is enjoying its second life on Steam, where it is scoring the best results since its release.

The studio even confirmed that a million players appeared in Night City every day last week. CD Projekt RED’s game is not stopping the pace and continues to record great participation results on Valve’s platform.

As per the data available on SteamDB, Cyberpunk 2077 was played simultaneously on Steam by 122,376 people at the peak of the last 24 hours.

In fact, the last time CD Projekt RED’s game enjoyed such high popularity on Valve’s platform was in January 2021, right after its release. Also worth noting is that the Adventures of V once again broke the Witcher 3 activity record on Steam.

The third part of Geralt of Rivia’s story was popular on Valve’s platform with a record high in December 2019 with the release of the first season of The Witcher series from Netflix. Back then, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt was simultaneously played by 103,329 Steam users.

Last but not least, let’s recall that Cyberpunk 2077 made its debut on PC and PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in December 2020. The title also received a dedicated update for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles in February.
