Later this month, Motive studio is reportedly planning to hold a closed press test, where the chosen few will be able to check out the team’s latest creation, the Dead Space remake. We are expecting an influx of various interesting information in this regard.

Putting the above aside, the product cards for the Dead Space remake have already appeared in console and PC stores. What’s good news is that, as far as tinkerers are concerned, purchases will be done not only in the store owned by Electronic Arts, but also on Steam and Epic Games Store platforms.

Just to make it more interesting, initial hardware requirements have also emerged online. While they are not yet complete, they do provide an idea of what we can expect.

When it comes to minimum requirements, what we’re talking about is an Intel Core-i5 8600 or AMD Ryzen 5 2600x processor, along with 8 GB of DDR4 RAM.

In terms of the recommended requirements, one must have an Intel Core-i5 11600K or AMD Ryzen 5 5600X, in addition to 16 GB of DDR4 RAM. For now, we don’t know which GPUs will be required.

The release of Dead Space is scheduled for January 27, and the game will then be available on PCs as well as PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles.
