Flintlock The Siege of Dawn

Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn, a game from the developers of Ashen, has gotten a gameplay video of several minutes. This title is likely to be of interest to fans of 2018 God of War.

This fantastic open-world action RPG is planned to be released in 2023. Through a look at the gameplay, you can assess whether the game is really worth your attention.

The gameplay looks a bit like that from the latest God of War. The third-person camera work is the same in Flintlock, hanging at a similar distance and angle to the main character’s back as in Sony’s hit.

Moreover, the “finishers” are vaguely reminiscent of the way Kratos disposes of enemies with an axe (especially since Nor Vanek uses a weapon of the same type).

Additionally, there is an ally; in Flintlock we will be assisted by Enki, a magical creature resembling a fennec or a fox. The gameplay shows that at times his help in battle will be invaluable.

For example, in the new video you will see the heroine dodging enemy attacks, and Enki will teleport to him, distract and allow us to finish off the enemy.

Thus, associations with the son of Kratos come to mind by themselves. Besides, in another piece of footage, you can see how the heroine “reunites” with her companion and covers the distance over the precipice thanks to him.

Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn will be coming out for PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S consoles and PCs. The game can currently be added to your wish list on these platforms.
