There is a possibility that a refreshed version of the 2005 hit will also come to Microsoft's eighth-generation console.

At June’s State of Play we received the announcement of Resident Evil 4 Remake. Capcom announced then that the refreshed version of the 2005 hit is heading exclusively to PC and the latest Sony and Microsoft consoles.

However, a little over a week ago we found out that the mentioned production will also come to PlayStation 4. There was no mention of an Xbox One version, however. However, it is possible that the game will arrive on the American company’s eighth-generation console.

This is because the website of the British branch of the Amazon store indicates that Resident Evil 4 Remake will be playable on both Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One.

The information about availability can be found not only on the unofficial cover, which is subject to change, but also in the place where customers can choose the platform they are interested in.

It is therefore possible that something is indeed on the line, and Capcom’s production will nevertheless be released on Microsoft’s older console.

Japanese developer has not addressed the above situation. So, owners of Xbox One consoles have nothing to do except to wait for the studio’s official announcement and hope that Amazon is not mistaken, with the production also coming to the said platform.

In conclusion, let’s recall that Resident Evil 4 Remake is set to debut on the market exactly on March 24, 2023. This game is headed for personal computers, as well as PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles.

The revamped version of Capcom’s production is expected to “retain the essence of the original,” according to the announcement, however, fans of the series can expect a “fresh experience.”
