CD Projekt RED finally unveiled specifics about the big DLC for Cyberpunk 2077. The add-on is called Phantom Liberty and it will debut next year on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S|X. So the expansion won’t be coming to the older generation PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Perhaps it’s a somewhat controversial decision, but we are well aware that these devices are already simply too weak for the basic version of Cyberpunk 2077, not to mention the upcoming add-on – which is sure to offer polished visuals and more resource-intensive attractions. So finally, the developers will not be (too much) limited by older devices.

As for the plot of Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty, not much has been said. We learn from the gameplay below that V. will most probably enter into a co-op with the government of the New United States of America.

The action is set in the brand-new Night City district, and in the DLC we will encounter again, among others, Johnny Silverhand (Keanu Reeves).

We will probably learn more specifics in the coming weeks. Watch the below trailer of Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty DLC and let us know what do you think about it in the comments.
