Could Dead Space Become a Movie? John Carpenter Continues Dreaming Of Adapting the Famous Game

Some fans and a certain filmmaker are hoping for that to happen.

Could Dead Space Become a Movie?

Dead Space is among those games that were practically impossible not to hear about, being even a little interested in the video game industry.

Furthermore, we’re discussing a title that’s constantly scrolling through the ranks of sci-fi productions and ones in the horror genre, and some time from now we’ll likely have a chance to test its endurance in the upcoming refresh.

And we might live to see more from the world of Dead Space than a game someday. That is at least what fans and one of horror cinema’s most famous directors, that is John Carpenter.

In a recent interview, which was held on the occasion of the upcoming release of the film “Hollywood Ends,” the subject of what kind of game the filmmaker wishes to direct was raised:

The only one that comes to mind and that I mentioned some time ago is Dead Space. It could be a really good movie. I would do it.

Surprisingly, as reported by ComicBook, Carpenter has indeed mentioned his intention to create such a film adaptation. This happened back in 2013, and the announcement was made in Game Informer.

Well, one must admit that it might indeed be something interesting… Do you want to see a full-length adaptation of Dead Space?  Let us know in the comments section below.
