God of War Ragnarok Isn’t a Short Game: How Long Will It Take To Complete the Story?

Adventurous fans of Kratos will be given an ample dose of gameplay, and they can extend it for themselves.

Very soon, together with Kratos and Atreus, we will be back in the Norse gods’ mythological world. Sony officially confirmed the game’s release date in July, targeting a debut in the first half of November.

According to recent reports, the company is confident in the quality of its production, and we can expect reviews as early as the first days of next month.

There must be enough time for reviewers to get acquainted with the title, and as Tom Henderson stated, it is not going to be a short story and a dozen to several dozen hours will be required to play God of War Ragnarok.

So how long will it require to complete God of War Ragnarok?

Passing the game is expected to consume about 40 hours, of which 20 hours will be needed to finish the main storyline.

The sources say that about 3.5 hours will be devoted to the cinematic interludes alone, and the remaining 16.5 hours to gameplay.

Players will spend the other half of the quoted time to finish all the additional side quests. That result probably doesn’t include the time that should be spent tracking down finds and doing the game at 100%. Game fans are likely to spend even more time with this title.

As suggested by the How Long to Beat website, the game will be a slightly longer adventure than the previous installment. It took about 32 hours to complete the main story along with side quests in 2018’s God of War.

In conclusion, we should remind you that God of War is set to debut on November 9. The game is coming to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 consoles.
