Selected Gamers Will Be Testing the Sims 5 in Just a Few Days

Tom Henderson has reported from his sources (via Insider Gaming) that pre-alpha tests of The Sims 5 (also known as Project Rene) are scheduled to begin on October 25. Selected players will receive emails to invite them to participate in the early testing.

According to the content received, it is clear that the early version will be primarily dedicated to the “workshop,” i.e. the tool for customizing objects in the apartment. This involves a system for choosing colors or changing the size of things you own, something that is being compared to Paralives.

In the course of checking The Sims 5, it will be possible to share the finished work with other players, for example, with friends.

Participants in the creation of the new game from EA will be given the opportunity to also invite three selected friends to participate in the program.

The Maxis studio has noted that players will be involved in the creation of a production that is in its infancy. And what the community will see is something that only the so-called “Project Rene” will become in the final version.

Therefore, it appears that fans will need to arm themselves with patience, because the release date of The Sims 5 is not even known.
