Ubisoft Is Putting the Finishing Touches on Assassin’s Creed Valhalla

Ubisoft confirmed the release date for the latest major update to Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Numbered 1.6.2, this patch will be released on December 6 and introduce new content and an epilogue to the Eivor story.

“The story finale will resolve several plot threads developed throughout the game and offer a closure to your time spent among the members of the Raven Clan,” – the official announcement of the update reads. In order to gain access to the epilogue – entitled The Last Chapter – we first need to fulfill several requirements:

Moreover, developers have announced that there will be no more “festivals” – limited time events – appearing in the game.

Surprisingly, this does not mean that those who are just getting into the game now or in the future lose access to rewards from festivals – all the unique items will be available for purchase from merchants in the game world.

Also added is a feature that many players have asked for – the possibility to wear a hood on at all times. This will be able to be changed in the game options.

The eagerly awaited New Game+ mode will not appear. Developers explain that the way the game was designed severely limited the potential for replaying the title.

Beginning the game over again would not provide players with any new experiences or rewards, so they don’t see the point in adding such a mechanic.
