EA To Try and Save Battlefield 2042, the Game Joins Xbox Game Pass

Electronic Arts has recently bragged about new features in Battlefield 2042, and many of them are set to hit the game with the launch of Season 3 of the game.

There really is a lot of it, and details about it are explained in a long blog post or in the video below.

I will focus here on the main novelties that the fans have been begging for, and definitely can help the game, which has received a huge amount of criticism at launch.

Huge new features in Battlefield 2042

First of all, BF2042 is expected to get a complete remodeling of character classes. Up to now, we played as operators divided into specific characters differentiated by additional equipment.

The system was one of the most controversial new features, and so DICE is set to change it. Basically, it means that the classic classes we know from previous installments are simply returning. And very well.

And the game is set to get a lot of new content with the start of Season 3. This one is about to hit the servers, and along with it we’ll get a new season pass, weapons and a completely new map.

That one is reportedly what DICE has been wanting to do for a long time, but the details have not been clarified. More to come in the days, as Season 3 launches soon, and even Season 4 is already in the pipeline.

Battlefield 2042 is also expected to hit the Xbox Game Pass library through EA Play. As if this wasn’t enough, you’ll be able to test the title for free also without those subscriptions. Apparently, DICE is keen to convince gamers, so free trials have been announced.

The entire progress will be transferred to the full version of the game, provided you decide to buy/play it.
