According to earlier announcements, the second major update is scheduled to hit Diablo Immortal in the middle of next month.

Developers have announced it will introduce, among other things, continued server merging and yet another battle pass – interested parties may find all the changes the patch will contain at this link. However, that’s not all, as quite a big problem appeared on the horizon (citing PCGamesN).

What made the situation worse was the fact that the progress erasure message appeared exclusively in the Chinese version of the news.

In turn, as we reported on the aforementioned website, only after players started a heated discussion on the Reddit forum, the Blizzard community manager has decided to inform that the developers corrected the message in English, that currently reads as follows:

Following server maintenance as part of our next major update on December 14, your existing chapter progress in Hero’s Journey will be reset.

A number of players have begun to fear that they would not only lose their earned progress, but also not be able to complete the chapter in time due to the daily restrictions imposed by the game system.

Let’s further remind that Diablo Immortal debuted on the market on June 2 this year on Android and iOS mobile devices. Production is also available on personal computers in beta version.
