The First Sonic Frontiers Patch Has Arrived To Fix Major Bugs

Sonic Frontiers’ first patch arrives well after its launch, on November 8. Expectations for the public about the new title of the industry’s most sonic hedgehog were almost bordering on underground,.

But apparently, the game is more than acceptable and for some it has been a real surprise. We learned last week that it was a hit in Japan, always a feat.

This patch will fix two major bugs, plus some minor glitches, but will only be available for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 players. While details are not yet known, Sega plans to release it for other platforms in the future.

The Sonic Frontiers was Sega’s umpteenth, to put a number on it, successful attempt at releasing a Sonic video game.

And while it seems to have succeeded, many still continue with the retort of, “There is no such thing as a good Sonic.”

Gamers may encounter the occasional minor bug, but the Kronos Island disappearing upon retrying combat is something that doesn’t go unnoticed.

The second important bug is that Chaos Island kept appearing as an objective after completing everything that needs to be done there.

Besides this, Patch 1.10 will fix audio bugs, buggy performance and random screen crashes. It will also improve the user interface and optimize some sections of the gameplay.

Pending official confirmation, it is expected that the patch will arrive to the rest of the platforms in the next few weeks.

Even though we are still analyzing it, it looks like it fulfills what is said, will this finally be a good Sonic game?
