The Game Awards 2022 Nominees Announced, Will God of War: Ragnarok Be the Big Winner?

According to announcements, The Game Awards 2022 gala will take place early next month. Not surprisingly, the list of productions that will fight for awards in the various categories this year has hit the net.

It appears that the competition may be dominated by God of War: Ragnarok. Sony Santa Monica production is likely to win as many as 10 statuettes, among them the most important – for the title of “Game of the Year.”

In second place, however, by the number of nominations, we will find Elden Ring and Horizon Forbidden West.

Both the From Software production and the work of Guerrilla Games have a chance to win 7 statuettes and, just like God of War: Ragnarok, will fight for the title of “Game of the Year.”

Also appreciated was Stray, which has been nominated in six categories. The developers from Asobo Studio also have reasons to be pleased, since A Plague Tale stands a chance to claim five statuettes: Requiem.

Lastly, a reminder that The Game Awards 2022 gala will be held on December 8. At the event, not only will the winners in each category be announced, but we will also see a ton of new footage of upcoming productions, and announcements of previously undisclosed titles.
