Reports of Problems With Collector’s Edition: The Game Is Missing!

God of War Ragnarok Launch Day Was Full of Problems for Buyers of the Collector’s Edition

A number of players were left disappointed on the day one of God of War Ragnarok because of a series of problems involving the Collector’s Editions, which have arrived at their recipients’ homes lacking essential content in some incidents.

Reportedly, a number of gamers have received Collector’s Editions missing the code to redeem God of War Ragnarok for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 they had been previously promised.

They have indeed found inside the case two promotional codes for a bonus package including a set of armor for Kratos and a tunic for Atreus, but no sign of the code to redeem the actual game.

It appears that several of the defective copies were sold and shipped from Target, although it is currently difficult to say if this phenomenon is limited to this chain store.

Issues are not ending there, since some people have also reportedly received Collector’s Editions which lack the Steelbook case. While there are not many reports, the problem is far from being limited.

On Twitter, a special profile has already been launched for the reports, where people from Sony, Santa Monica Studio and even Cory Barlog were also mentioned. Hopefully, all affected users will be properly assisted.
