25% of God of War Ragnarok Players So Far Have Finished the Game

Released about two weeks ago, God of War Ragnarok for PS4 and PS5 has been finished by 25 percent of players. This figure was learned by consulting Trophy statistics and it is in line with that of other games in the genre. Mildly better, but not too much better.

Specifically, 24.8% of players made it to the end of the main story. If that percentage seems very low to you, it is because you probably do not realize that most players abandon the titles they purchase before they reach the end. Frequently much earlier.

This percentage made by Sony Santa Monica’s title is not bad, when you put it in perspective, that is, if you consider its open world nature and the many side activities, which require a lot of time to tackle.

Likely in the coming weeks the value will grow, whether because of increased sales, presently 5.1 million copies reported, or more time available for players to devote to God of War Ragnarok.

When looking at the Platinum Trophy, of course things get worse: it was unlocked by only 3.9 percent of Ragnarok players.

Given that one of the objectives requires finding all the rewards scattered around the world, many might have settled for the end credits, for now at least.
