Lies of P on Its Final Stretch: The Game Have Entered the Final Phase of Development

The latest production from Round8 Studio and NeoWiz Games is moving ever closer to release. In the latest interview, a developer revealed the stage of the dark and demanding project that draws handfuls from Carlo Collodi’s stories.

The Lies of P has been a title that has been intriguing since the first announcements. The alternative version of the fairy tale of the wooden boy will transport us to the very violent city of Krat, with a style that harkens back to the Belle Epoque and the different parts will differ slightly from each other, providing as different an experience as possible.

Meanwhile, the protagonist’s “lies” and modification capabilities will prove to be not insignificant – to cope with the demanding environment, a protagonist who is a mechanical puppet will be able to improve selected parts of his body. There’ no doubt that enthusiasts of the soulslike genre are getting ready for a very nice gameplay.

Speaking to journalists from the 4Gamers portal, Choi Ji-Won, production director, told a little more about the milestones passed by the Korean studio. There’s some pretty good news for anyone waiting for the debut – Lies of P is nearly completed, with the developers working on a few more elements.

“We announced in August that the game was 70% complete, but now it is in a much more advanced state. Most of the development has been completed, and the rest is in the editing phase, we are fixing bugs, fine-tuning and putting the final touches on the finishing touches.”

Although the words of the game’s director are extremely promising, he didn’t reveal the most important piece of information – when can we expect the final release date to be revealed.

What we know so far is that the Bloodborne-inspired entry will be on the market in 2023 and offer quite a grand story. Getting to know its main part will take at least 30 hours.
