Modern Warfare 2 Gamers Are Helping Others To Unlock Weapons, for a Fee!

There are some players who are making a really good business out of helping other community members unlock very hard-to-get weapons.

Modern Warfare 2 Gamers Are Helping Others To Unlock Weapons, for a Fee!

The members of the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 game community are surprisingly very determined to obtain probably one of the most coveted and also the most difficult to get weapons in the DMZ mode in Warzone 2.0.

We’re talking about the M13B assault rifle; and the only way to unlock the weapon is to participate in gameplay in the said mode and kill a specific boss (Chemist) and get his rifle. Where, therefore, is the whole problem? We’ve already explained.

DMZ mode weapons in Warzone 2.0 sold on eBay.

Indeed, there’s a catch here – there’s only one M13B for all participants in a single game. A lot of players decided to take advantage of this situation and started selling weapons on the auction portal eBay.

All the hoax is that for an average of 6 British pounds (about 33 zlotys), gamers arrange to join the DMZ mode with a buyer and in the course of the game drop the weapon, which is picked up by the customer.

Editors of the Eurogamer portal point out that Activision plans to include the rifle in the paid weapons package – with the price of the set expected to be in the range of £15, meaning that for many the deal on eBay will be better.

It is also worth noting that the M13B rifle is not the only weapon that works this way. The DMZ mode makes it fairly easy for players to unlock any weapon from Modern Warfare 2 as it is bundled with Warzone 2.0 – provided, naturally, they pick it up without dying.
