New Games Added to PS Plus Essential for December 2022: See the Full List

There are some strong titles here.

Sony has published a list of games that PS Plus Essential subscribers will be able to download in December 2022 at no extra charge (all items will also be available in the more expensive Extra and Premium versions).

The new games in PS Plus Essential in December 2022

Here’s a list of productions that subscribers to the service will download starting December 6:

The newest lineup appears to be exceptionally strong, not only offering the complete Mass Effect trilogy in refreshed form, but the successful action game Biomutant – with a sizeable open world to explore.

Mass Effect Legendary Edition from last April features Mass Effect, Mass Effect 2 and Mass Effect 3, with updated visuals and a full DLC pack. The only drawback is that the set was never released on PlayStation 5 – you need to use backwards compatibility.

The list closes with Divine Knockout: Founder’s Edition, which will arguably be the least recognizable title on offer. The game just premiered on December 6, and so PS Plus owners will feel like they have Game Pass for a while. As for the gameplay, we’re getting a brawler, but from a third-person perspective.

The Essential is a basic PS Plus subscription. The subscription costs $53 for 12 months, $22 for 3 months and $8 per month.

Let’s recall that there are also more expensive options for the service – extra and premium – with extra bonuses.

Active PS Plus Essential subscription not only entitles you to download more “free” games every month, but also allows you to use multiplayer modes on Sony consoles, ensures numerous discounts in the PlayStation Store and provides access to special content such as themes, applications or even starter packs in free games.
