No Man’s Sky Is Coming to PS VR 2 on the Launch Day of the Goggles

Hello Games studio confirmed that No Man’s Sky will appear as a launch title for PlayStation VR 2.

Development of the port was announced back in June. The developers recently updated the description of the official production trailer on the PS Store, and added information about a February release next year.

Editors at Eurogamer have received confirmation from the developers that a patch adding headset support will hit players on February 22, 2023, alongside the hardware release.

This update will be free for all owners of No Man’s Sky on PlayStation 5. It is not known at this point what new features the next-generation goggle support will introduce to the game.

But it can be expected that some of the new features will hit compatible, PC-based virtual reality headsets at a later date.

Let’s recall that No Man’s Sky originally debuted in 2016, gaining recognition as one of the most ambitious indie games ever.

While the title was initially met with mixed reviews, mostly due to its rather simple gameplay, the developers expanded the title with a lot of new content over time.
