The Sony is preparing its first cars, expected to hit the streets in 2025. And the corporation may come up with an interesting idea and equip the machines with its cutting-edge console. Company presented its vision.
Sony first revealed the Sony Vision, the concept for its cars, in 2020, and we saw the Sony VISION-S 02 just two years later. At the same time, the Corporation unveiled its initial plans.
Now, Japan’s vision has been revealed by Sony’s Izumi Kawanishi, who mentioned his desire to build cars around content, namely “music, movies and PS5,” during a conversation with the Financial Times.
Sony is looking to leverage its position in the world to “align these assets with mobility.” And the corporation is thinking of creating autonomous vehicles in which players could watch new movies and series or simply play PlayStation 5.
“To enjoy the space in a car, you need to make it a zone where you don’t have to drive. The solution to this is autonomous driving.”
The Corporation is not yet revealing specific information and details, however, the concept is that the Japanese want to provide cars in which users would not have to worry about driving, but could simply enjoy the entertainment.
We don’t yet know the exact plans for such a future of motoring, the Japanese apparently have a plan, which, by small steps, they are carrying out.
