Ray-tracing Will Make Its Way to Forza Horizon 5 and Halo Infinite

Ray-tracing has emerged as the most distinctive technology of the current generation. Many were surprised when Halo Infinite and Forza Horizon 5 both lacked it during their launch on PC over a year ago. This will be changing shortly, however.

Starting off, ray-tracing is coming to Forza Horizon 5 first, with an update on November 8 that should give us access to this technology on PC.

This will introduce us to four graphical options, forcing the user to increase the RT quality to Ultra or Extreme to experience its graphical enhancements in racing and free mode. In addition to this, we have been told that only our car will have the characteristic reflections.

Meanwhile, ray-tracing is coming to Halo Infinite until the beginning of the game’s third season, in other words, until March 2023.

PC users will experience this graphical improvement in Arena and Big Team Battle modes, in which they will be able to admire the changes in lights and shadows.

What do you think about this? Are you happy that these two games are finally getting ray-tracing? Let us know in the comments section below.
