This Is How the Sims 5 Looks Like: Leaked Screenshots Reveals the Game and New Features

The Sims 5 has recently been officially announced as “Project Rene.” Little is known about the game so far, but that didn’t stop hackers from getting into the early internal testing of the game.

This title promises to be especially exciting for fans of the series, who may have already been bored by the fourth installment. Currently we will play it fully for free.

We already had a small glimpse of how the title currently looks when it was announced. The pity is that it doesn’t actually have much to show.

The game is at a very early stage, the person who shared the new leak on Reddit says. Thus, the screen shots presented below are better regarded as a prototype, rather than anything representative.

This test focused mainly on the new building and furniture. It had 4 pre-set apartments where you could play or empty ones where you could build. There were no sims involved.

The leaked images have not been confirmed, but they match what we’ve seen so far. When Reddit removed them, they found their way to Twitter. You can view the images below.

In them, we can see mostly apartment blocks, which so far have not been standard in the series. They made their debut in The Sims 4 in one of the many paid add-ons.

So it looks like they’re going to be in The Sims 5 right from the start. Although the images don’t show people, they do show a rather nice-looking city (even for an early version), including the cars on the streets. We don’t know, though, if it will be possible to steer them.

The major novelty on the screenshots are the apartments available in the buildings, which we can arrange according to what we think of. A tool that allows us to create our own style of furniture is to help with this.

We’ll be able to customize them to our own “fancy”. Players, as assured by the Maxis studio, they will be able to share them and make them available.
