Sony Is Going to CES 2023: Will We Hear News About PlayStation 5?

With a little over a month to go before the event, Sony confirmed that it will be present at CES in Las Vegas again this year.

Based on current information, company will focus on the automotive sector, however, is there room for more news on the gaming side?

With a tweet posted on its Twitter page, Sony has confirmed that it will be at CES 2023 and will hold a conference on January 4.

“Sony will be at CES 2023! Mark your calendar for Sony’s global press conference on Jan. 4, 2023 at 5 p.m. PST. Sony Honda Mobility will join us on stage. Follow us and stay tuned for more details.”

Sony is working with Honda to make an electric car on which a PlayStation 5 could be installed, according to a recent statement by Yasuhide Mizuno, president of Sony Honda Mobility as well as senior managing officer of Honda Motor Co.

It will therefore be interesting to find out the extent to which the two companies’ project is going to combine mobility and entertainment.

In the past few months, Insider Tom Henderson has been talking about a new PlayStation 5 model with a removable player.

Although remote, it is not entirely to be dismissed that the company will take the opportunity to present the new hardware, as CES has already set the stage for major announcements regarding gaming at Sony’s home, as in the case of the first presentation of PlayStation VR 2.
