The Cyberpunk 2077’s Peralez Questline Won’t Be Further Expanded

It is hard to believe that nearly two years have passed since the release of the Cyberpunk 2077 game. CD Projekt RED currently is working on the Phantom Liberty story expansion.

Some gamers had hoped that the add-on would develop, among others, the Peralez marriage plot. Unfortunately, the director of the game’s quests, Pavel Sasko, decided to dispel all hopes of fans.

It is important to recall that this is all about one of the side missions called Bunraku. It consists of an investigation into a mysterious break-in at the apartment of Elizabeth and Jefferson Peralez.

No unnecessary details – eventually we learn that they were both victims of brainwashing. What we don’t know, however, was who did it.

Many production fans were hoping that CD Projekt RED will decide to expand this thread in the upcoming add-on.

In a recent Twitch broadcast, one viewer asked Sasko if such a thing would take place. To the disappointment of the community, a developer admitted – that the Peralez thread had been closed, and that the developers’ intention had been to leave it without clear answers. This is a pity.

Let’s remind you, last but not least, that Cyberpunk 2077 debuts on December 10, 2020 on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles, and (this year) on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.
