Need for Speed Unbound Speed Race Gameplay Trailer Revealed

And finally, we saw the release of a longer gameplay fragment from Need for Speed Unbound.

Need for Speed Unbound Speed Race Gameplay Trailer Revealed

Developers have released new gameplay footage of Need For Speed Unbound. Here we can see what racing looks like, but also betting mechanics and – the first time in the series – pedestrians.

As we see in the footage shown, the game’s races begin by finding a “rally,” a place where local drivers meet. At this screen we can choose the route and type of race, can see what drivers and cars we will be racing against, and can offer a bet to one of the competitors.

The race itself shows cartoon character models, the animated “special effects” as well as the aforementioned passers-by.

Although this certainly gives the explored city a bit more life, it is worth noting that they are only a decorative element of the environment.

Just as before, for instance, in Ubisoft’s The Crew, NPCs will be running away from oncoming vehicles.

Moreover, races, traditional for the series, will attempt to interrupt the police. However, it is unknown whether the system known from NFS Heat will return, whereby in the event of capture by law enforcement officers, you will lose part of your progress in the game.

Let’s recall that Need For Speed Unbound will make its debut on December 2 on PC, Xbox Series X/S and PS5 – unfortunately, this title will bypass previous-generation consoles.

Star of this installment of the series – and likely an important character in the story mode – is famous rapper A$AP Rocky, the songs of which will be featured on the game’s soundtrack.
