World Tiers in Diablo IV and a Handy Feature for Legendary Items

IGN editors had the chance once again to talk to the developers of Diablo IV and find out more details about the upcoming production of the Blizzard Entertainment studio. A video appeared on the website’s official YouTube channel, where the developers clarified the new World Tiers and a really useful feature related to legendary items.

World Tiers in Diablo IV is going to work on a very similar basis to the levels of Anguish in Diablo III, however, there are some differences.

In Diablo IV, we will be given a choice between two difficulty levels at the very beginning, of which the first (referred to as Adventure) is intended for new players and those who would prefer to focus primarily on the story.

Further levels will be unlocked as our character reaches experience level 50. However, only the third one will be available immediately, because at the end of the adventure we will face a world boss.

It is only after winning the duel with him that the difficulty level will be increased once again – which is how it will be at the end of each World Level.

The next bosses will, of course, become more and more powerful, and with the last one expected to be extremely challenging. If you defeat him, you will then unlock – as Rod Fergusson, the brand’s general manager, put it – the end of the game.

It is interesting to note that only in the higher Levels of the world we will find Sacred equipment and Ancestral equipment.

On top of that, the developers also mentioned a useful option that would allow us to transfer the powers of legendary items to other elements of our equipment.

Thanks to this, gamers are going to be able to use particular effects even if they find them in the wrong part of armor or weapons.

Let us remind you that Diablo IV is expected to hit the market next year on PC and PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S consoles.
