Never Have I Ever has a well-defined main character. Devi Vishwakumar is about to start her second year in high school and diligently wants to improve her position in the school hierarchy. It soon turns out that this is not the case, and thus for seven seasons the group attempt to find out who the sender is. Meanwhile, they find themselves controlled by a criminal who is threatening to give away their secrets.
