The Witcher: Blood Origin Comes With a New Trailer, Netflix Reveals a New Heroine

The series will debut later this month.

The Witcher: Blood Origin will make its debut at the end of December, and to mark the upcoming release, Netflix released the first full trailer for its production.

The anticipated Witcher prequel has received a number of new scenes, among them the first presentation of the heroine played by Minnie Driver named Seanchai.

Moreover, a new poster featuring the main characters of the production was shared by the platform. You’ll see the trailer for the series and the poster below.

The Witcher: Blood Origin series is set in the Elven Age, that is, 1200 years before the adventures of Geralt, Yennefer and Ciri.

It is the story of seven strangers who join forces to confront an all-powerful empire. Though Éile and Fjall come from feuding clans, they have to learn to trust each other.

Together only can they lead a band of outcasts to overthrow the oppressors of the Continent. However, when the gateway to other worlds opens and a power-hungry sage reveals a powerful weapon, the valiant seven realize that a monster can only defeat another monster….

Cast includes: Sophia Brown, Laurence O’Fuarain, Michelle Yeoh, Lenny Henry, Mirren Mack, Nathaniel Curtis, Dylan Moran, Jacob Collins-Levy, Lizzie Annis, Huw Novelli, Francesca Mills, Amy Murray, Zach Wyatt and Minnie Driver.

The Witcher: Blood Origin will make its highly awaited debut on Netflix on December 25. There will be four episodes in the miniseries.
