Polyphony Digital boss Kazunori Yamauchi has revealed that a new update for Gran Turismo 7, or more specifically Patch 1.27, which will introduce five new cars to the PS5 and PS4 game, will come out next week.
This announcement came in a Twitter post that shows silhouettes of the new upcoming cars, while leaving it up to fans to find out which ones they will be.
The one at the center is clearly the Ferrari Vision GT, the new futuristic concept art unveiled a few weeks ago during the GT World Series finals. The four others are decidedly more difficult to guess.
Coming to our aid is @EyuiSan, who revealed the other four cars on Twitter. The complete list thus consists of:
- Chevrolet Corvette (C8) ’20
- Toyota Celica GT-FOUR Rally Car (ST205) ’95
- Ferrari Vision GT
- Alfa Romeo Giulia GTAm ’20
- Bugatti Chiron ’16
Besides the new cars, the Patch 1.27 is likely to include a number of changes and fix problems of various more and less known nature.
We will just have to wait for the release of the update, scheduled for early next week, and the official notes to learn more.
