Players of Anno 1800 can already experience the industrial and economic boom of their overseas colonies, exploring a new level of population, and additional islands to further expand their empire.
All this is in New World Rising, a final expansion for the fourth season of Anno 1800, has been released at the same time as the new cosmetic DLC Old City Pack, where players can decorate the centers of their metropolises using medieval themes native to previous Anno games.
Gamers can utilize more building space in their New World sessions and discover Mānola: the largest island in the archipelago, which features a unique story line involving the construction of a hydroelectric power-producing dam.
And they can also discover Artistas, a third social level now present in the New World, which will prove to be very demanding when it comes to meeting their consumption needs.
This new DLC also brings electricity and many new production chains to the New World. Gamers will be able to take advantage of new buildings – such as a brand new monument: a huge stadium that can host soccer tournaments.
The addition also brings a brand new story scenario, “Pride and Traders,” where players will be able to take on the role of Madame Kahina and learn more about the past of this mysterious person.
The mission will test knowledge of trade and export, change market trends and save the New World’s most famous relics and find other lost treasures in the South Sea.
With the release of New World Rising, Ubisoft has published a free update to its game that would offer players minor improvements and enhancements, such as the function to move multiple buildings at once, clearer construction menus and an increase in the pool of available New World maps.
Anno 1800 is available on Windows PC via the Ubisoft Store, Epic Games Store and, starting today, Steam. Gamers can also sign up for Ubisoft+ and enjoy all the content of the Anno 1800 Season Pass.
New World Rising DLC can be purchased for $59.99 or as part of the Season Pass 4 for $79.92. Old City Pack as a cosmetic pack is not included in the Season Pass 4 – you can buy it as a standalone add-on for $24.
